As I forgot to write one of these yesterday I'm combining it with todays post. I've been doing more research into menu design as well as deciding what menus the game needs. I've also started doing some very early mockups of the menus to get a feeling of what fits the game. Outside of the menus I've been working with preparing flowcharts for the different aspects of the game that would require those.
I've been doing a lot of planning in preperation for the milestone review on monday, and my goals are to start playtesting tomorrow and tweak the aspects we've been able to create and implement into the game.
